Newly signed Accra Hearts of Oak striker Abednego Tetteh believes defenders in the Northern part of Africa play very ‘hard’ on strikers juxtaposed to other defenders who play in the other part of the world.
According to the lanky striker, unlike other defenders who ply their trade in Africa, North African defenders are mostly rude on strikers.
The newest acquisition to Accra Hearts of Oak is Abednego Tetteh who needs no introduction in the Ghana premier league having excelled during his spells with Bechem United in 2016.
In response to a question asked on Otec 102.9 FM on how hard Ghana Premier League defenders treated him in previously the highly-rated striker replied “I can tell you on authority that defenders in the Northern part of Africa are worst.
”They give more cynical tackles,” added Tetteh
The 29-year old striker is expected to hit the ground running and his debut could he the biggest fixture in the Ghana premier league between his new club Accra Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko in match day six.
