“With Hans Nunoo we are getting a player who is very good at running and two-way combat and who offers us new opportunities in an important position,” said Dietmar Beiersdorfer, Managing Director Sport and Communication at FC Ingolstadt 04, about the 23-year-old’s commitment.
“Hans Nunoo is a player with willpower and mentality who stands up to any resistance with the utmost commitment. This is exactly the attitude we need, especially in the next few months when we are playing to stay in the Bundesliga 2. In addition, because of his young age and his ability to develop further, he is a very exciting player for the FCI.”
Sapei, however, expressed excitement after completing the transfer.
“Of course I know that the mission to stay up will not be an easy undertaking. The togetherness and the belief that we can definitely still make it are decisive. I would like to make my contribution and I am very happy to be part of the team. ”
Hans Nunoo Sarpei joined VfB Stuttgart in 2016 at the age of 18 from Ghana.
There the nephew of the former Bundesliga professional Hans Sarpei sniffed his first professional air before he finally landed at SpVgg Greuther Fürth after a loan to Slovakia to FK Senica 2019. With the Franks, Sarpei managed a surprising promotion to the Bundesliga last season, in the first half of the season the right-footed player made eight league appearances, of which he played six games over the full 90 minutes.
