Darmstadt defender Patric Pfeiffer insists he is not concerned about who he teems up with within the heart of his club’s defence.
The German centre-back of Ghanaian parentage was considered the third choice by his club before the season began but he has been able to work his way into the team and now commands a regular start.
Pfeiffer maintains that it does not matter who he is paired with at the back as they have worked on coordination several times.
“During training, we work on being a well-coordinated team and it doesn’t matter what is set up,” Pfeiffer told Lilenblog.
The 22-year-old guardsman is likely to be partner Jannick Muller on Friday when Dramstadt host Nurnberg in the Bundesliga.
