Former Ghana Football Association Capo, Kwasi Nyantakyi has stated that, any player above the age of 30years brings nothing but agitations to a team.
The former CAF first deputy president believes those players who are above the age of 30 are no longer players but have rather become politicians.
According to him, such players brings nothing on the table in most cases but are full of agitations when they reach that age.
“Any Player Over 30years is not a player, but a politician, coming into your team with all sorts of agitations”, he said on GTV Sports Plus.
He was speaking about the Black Stars shambolic performance at the just ended Africa Cup of Nations tournament in Cameroon.
His comments came after he was asked about player selection and what could be a cause of Ghana’s decline in recent years.
During his tenure as Ghana FA boss, the Black Stars played in two finals, made three World Cup appearances and won the FIFA World U20 Men’s championship and bronze at the FIFA U17 women’s championship.
