German-born Ghanaian international Ragnar Prince Ache, justified himself in the German U-21 team by scoring on his debut in the team’s 3-2 loss to Belgium in the European U21 championship qualifiers.
The Sparta Rotterdam forward registered his debut goal on the 81th minute but that was not enough to get his side victory at home in the crucial clash.
Zinho Vanheusden opened the scoring in the 26th minute for Belgium with a fine strike before Nico Schlotterbeck restored parity for Germany in the 38th minute.
But Belgium kept mounting thunderous pressure on the home side and finally got their second goal through Lois Openda in the 43rd mark.
Lois Openda again struck in the 70th minute to give Belgium a commanding 3-1 lead before Ragar Ache reduced their lead to 3-2 nine minutes from stoppage time.
The result means that Belgium now leads the Group I standings with 7 points after playing four games, one above Germany who have amassed 6 points in three matches.
Ache however, remains eligible to play for the Black Stars despite representing Germany at the 21 level.
