Board Member of GN Bank Division One league side Bofoakwa Tano JY Appiah lashed out his anger on the club supporters for continuously beating and attacking Referees during home matches.
According to him, the ‘unnecessary’ monies the club pay as fines could be used to support the club financially if the teeming fans of the club conduct themselves in a respectable manner during their home matches.
He adds those acts are unprofessional and should not be glorified by the fans.
“We don’t have money so comport yourselves as true supporters of the Bofoakwa to save us(Board Members)from struggling to raise money always to pay fines due to beatings of referees and invading of pitch”,JY Appiah told Sunyani based Space FM.
The former GHALCA Boss made it clear that,the Board Members have to cough up GhC 20,000 as at week 16 of the ongoing Division One league to pay only fines which are punishment from the supporters unpleasant behavior.
Bofoakwa Tano are currently sit on 8th position with 29 points in Zone One of the GN Bank Division One League..
