CAF has released the best-ranked teams in the last 5 seasons in the CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup after the quarter-finals of the 2023-24 season.
Al Ahly, Sundowns, Esperance and TP Mazembe are the semi-finalists of the CAF Champions League in the current campaign.
In the Confederation Cup, Zamalek, RS Berkane, USM Alger and Dreams FC are the teams that made it to the last four.
In the last 5 years in the CAF Champions League, Al Ahly has won CCL three times and finished as runner-up once. Moroccan giants Wydad have won the title once and finished second on two occasions.
Esperance completes the list of the winners of the last 5 years in the CAF Champions League after lifting it once.
The Tunisians have also finished as runner-up. Kaizer Chiefs and Zamalek have all played in the finals in the last 5 seasons.
In the Confederation Cup, RS Berkane has won it twice in the last 5 years. Zamalek, Raja and USM have all lifted the Confederation Cup over the past 5 seasons.
