Ghana’s Osman Bukari scored his third league goal for KAA Gent on Wednesday evening against Waasland Beveren in the Belgium Pro League.
The former AS Trencin hitman scored his team’s third goal in their 3-0 mauling of Beveren at home to move to 10th on the league table.
Alessio Castro-Montes opened the scoring in the first half on the 25th minute after receiving an assist from Ghanaian forward Vadis Odjidja Ofoe to make it 1-0 before the break.
On the 53rd minute, Osman Bukari provided a deft touch to set up Roman Yaremchuk to score the second goal for the hosts.
In the dying embers of the match, Osman Bukari’s right footed shot from outside the box found the bottom left corner of the goal post to add the icing on the cherry as KAA Gent won 3-0 at home to Beveren.
The 22-year-old Ghanaian forward has three, and four assists in 12 matches for Gent this season in the Belgium top-flight.
