Former Ghana goalkeeper, Richard Kingson has opened up on the exit from the the country’s maiden 2006 World Cup in Germany.
The Black Stars after losing to Italy in the opening game by 2:0, fought hard to beat Czech Republic and USA to book a place in the Round of 16 against Brazil.
However, the Black Stars lost 3:0 to the five-times champions and according to the former Black Stars goalkeeper’s trainer, they were just unlucky against the Brazilians.
“Were just unlucky against Brazil,” Kingson told Joy Sports in an interview.
“After losing to Italy, we stayed together as a team and the unity was unbelievable.
“We came to together and had a good time and that helped us to beat Czech Republic and the USA but we were just unlucky,” he added
