Young Ghanaian forward Felix Afena Gyan scored the only goal for AS Roma in their narrow 1-0 win over Sassuolo in the Primavera 1 championship.
Afena-Gyan netted the opening goal to give Roma the breakthrough in the 59th minute to Gran his first goal of the season.
The 18-year-old was described by Mondoprimavera as the best player on the field during his 80 minutes stay on the pitch at the Trigoria Park.
With his goal against Sassuolo on Sunday afternoon, Roma recorded their second consecutive victory of the season.
The away team also featured two other Ghanaian players- Salim Abubakar and Justin Kumi.
Roma are on top of the Primavera table with six points and two points above Inter after two matches.
The youngster has a goal in a game and will have a chance to score again when Roma meet AC Milan.
