President of the Ghana Football Association [GFA] Kwesi Nyantakyi has reacted to calls for him to step down from the highest office in Ghana football.
Following Ghana’s failure to win the recently ended African Club of Nations held in Gabon, there have been concerns raised by a section of Ghanaians for the FA boss to resign.
The Football Association president of Ghana speaking to Accra based Neat FM responded to those calls and emphasized resignation is a private decision therefore no one can force him to do so.
“I’m from a village but we’re not fools. They think we’re kids or fools. Should I resign, resignation is a personal decision. No one can force me to resign” He said.
Nyantakyi, a lawyer by profession came into the scene as the FA president of Ghana in 2005 and his reign has then been extended through elections till date.
