Kotoko Legend, Joseph Hendrics have waded into one of the reasons he believed caused the fortunes of Kumasi Asante Kotoko.
The former captain of the Kumasi based side is of the strong view management of Kotoko did the club a lot of disservice when they cashed in on Kwame Poku to Algeria prematurely.
In an interview with Original FM the former touch tackling defender said: “The selling of Kwame Opoku to USM Alger also really caused the team not to win the league because Kotoko loose some small small points in the league and if Kwame Poku was there as he is the leading striker of the team Kotoko should have win most games and important games in the league this season because Kwame Poku was the top top lead striker in the team and management should have wait for the league to end before they sell him to Algeria”
Kotoko have found goal scoring very difficult since the departure of the player to Algeria about 4 months ago. Kwame Poku surprisingly still lead the goal scoring chart for the Porcupine Warriors with 6 goals.
