Medeama SC defeated Ebusua Dwarfs by 3-0 on Sunday during Week 22 of the Ghana Premier League to become the first team to win four games in a row.
Amed Toure, Ibrahim Yaro and Prince Opoku Agyemang scored the goals for the Yellow and Mauves as the team coached by Yaw Preko assumes the summit of the league again. Kotoko has taken provisional leadership of the standings after a 1-0 win at Legon Cities on Saturday.
Medeama lead the table on 39 points – one more than closest challengers Kotoko.
The winning streak started with a 2-0 win over Dreams FC on April 11th in Tarkwa as Burkina Faso international Toure scored a brace and this was followed up with another 2-1 home success against Legon Cities.
Kotoko were beaten 2-1 in Obuasi and Ebusua Dwarfs are the latest to de beaten by Medeama.
The team of Moses Parker has scored 9 goals whilst conceding twice during these four wins on the trot.
