Asante Kotoko have revealed some fascinating statistics three games into the Ghana Premier League season under new head coach Prosper Ogum Narteh.
The former WAFA coach is known to be a proponent of attacking, possession-based and beautiful football and there seems to be a clear connection between the numbers released and the philosophy of Ogum.
According to the club , the team of Ogum has made 316 successful passes in the final third of the pitch and average possession stand at 57%.
Six goals have been scored from 14 shots on target in 3 games as Kotoko are joint leaders of the league on 9 points.
Asante Kotoko host Eleven Wonders on Saturday during Week 4 of the season.
