South Africa has been hit with a snag after a disappointing draw in their first game of the 2022 World Cup qualifiers.
Ghana’s group opponent travelled to Zimbabwe to face the Warriors in the opening encounter of the Group G games.
However, Hugo Broos’ first game in charge of Bafana Bafana in the qualifiers could only see them take away just a point following a goalless game.
Despite being the better side for the majority of the game, South Africa were unable to break into the Zimbabwe defence though they had three shots on target.
Zimbabwe on the hand managed just a shot on target out of their 10 attempts in the encounter on Friday.
The earlier results mean that the Black Stars would move to the top of the table should they manage all three points against Ethiopia later today.
