Zimbabwe national team head coach Norman Mapeza maintains that it will be a tough battle this weekend when his charges face Ghana in a 2022 World Cup qualifier in Cape Coast.
Mapeza mentioned that Ghana has lots of quality players and it will be a difficult game when the two sides lock horns on Saturday.
“We are going to play a very good team. If you look at their squad, they have got so many players playing in Europe and I watched their game against South Africa and they did well despite losing. With the new coach coming, they will change their game plan. We don’t know much about their new coach except that he was there when they played the World Cup in South Africa,” Mapeza told the Zimbabwean Press
“They have Thomas Partey, Jordan Ayew. Those are quality players, so definitely it’s not going to be an easy game. They are a very good team.” He added.
The Warriors need at least a point from the game this weekend if they are to keep their chances of progressing in the Group alive.
