German Bundesliga team FC Augsburg has officially presented Ghanaian defender Patric Pfeiffer as their latest acquisition.

Pfeiffer, who recently left Darmstadt 96, signed a four-year contract with Augsburg, a club that narrowly avoided relegation last season.

The 23-year-old decided to depart from Darmstadt after failing to reach an agreement on a new contract.

During his time at Darmstadt, Pfeiffer played a vital role in their promotion to the German top-flight, making 26 appearances across various competitions and contributing four goals and one assist.

Alongside other new signings, Pfeiffer joined his new teammates for pre-season training ahead of the upcoming 2023-24 campaign, aiming to make an immediate impact at Augsburg.
