Ghanaian defender Mohammed Salisu played a crucial role for Monaco as they secured a 3-2 victory against RC Lens on Saturday in a thrilling French Ligue 1 game.
Salisu, who joined Monaco from Southampton in the summer, made his mark by providing an important assist, his first goal contribution in eight matches for his new team. He delivered a precise long pass to Folarin Balogun, who displayed great skill and strength to score confidently in the 19th minute, giving Monaco the lead.
