AS Roma manager José Mourinho has named high-flying Ghanaian striker Felix Afena-Gyan in his match day squad for the game against SSC Napoli today.
Felix Ohene Afena-Gyan was called up from the Primavera side to the first team for AS Roma’s game with Napoli today by the former Chelsea and Porto coach Mourinho following his blistering start to life in Italy.
The youngster has been in impressive form for the youth side this season and his hard work has not gone unnoticed as the technical team has taken notice and handed him a chance to be with the senior team.
Afena-Gyan has scored six goals this season for AS Roma’s reserve side in the Primavera and could get his first senior game today at 4pm against powerhouse Napoli.
He was recently named in the Primavera Team-Of-The-Week for a second successive week after netting a brace against Pescara.
