Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC legendary goalkeeper Anthony Osei Kwadwo has advised Black Stars Goalie and Captain for the Porcupines, Felix Annan to be a professional following his current predicament at the club.
Annan, during the 2019-20 season left camp to marry his girlfriend and subsequently lost his number one position to Black Meteors goalkeeper, Kwame Baah.
The former Kumasi Asante Kotoko legend, Osei Kwadwo in an exclusive interview with Kumasi-based Silva FM expressed his views about the current situation at Kotoko regarding Annan.
“Felix is my boy, I love him, he should act as a professional,” Osei Kwadwo told Kumasi-based Silver FM in an interview.
According Osei Kwadwo, the former WAFA SC man should stop running to the media at any given opportunity and concentrate on his career and working it out with Maxwell Konadu.
“He should halt the media interviews and work with the coach. The coach doesn’t hate him, he likes him.
“I encountered same at the Black Meteors, Coach Paha told me he will sack me, I didn’t give up. When Sam Arday came I became number 1. If I had done something against Coach Paha, I wouldn’t have been able to work with him when I moved to Obuasi Goldfields,” he said.
On the other hand, the former Black Stars shot stopper also advised the current crop of goalkeepers at Asante Kotoko to act as professionals.
“The advise I will offer the three goalkeepers is to be professionals.
“Being professional here means they have to learn fast, if you make a mistake, you quickly take note and correct yourself,” he concluded.
