Black Stars forward, Bernard Tekpetey was adjudged Man-Of-The-Match in his team’s victory over PFC CSKA-Sofia on Saturday afternoon.
Tekpetey scored the only goal for Ludogorets Razgrad in their slim but well deserved win over PFC CSKA-Sofia in Bulgaria to remain top of the league table.
The former Schalke 04 man netted the winning and only goal of the encounter as his side secured a vital win to stretch their lead over their opponents PFC CSKA-Sofia to six points at the top of the league.
The Ghanaian international scored the game’s opener and only goal of the match after just four minutes after Kickoff and his goal was enough to win the game for the Bulgarian giants.
The 23-year-old predator finisher played 70 minutes before he redrawn from the game for the last 20 minutes of action.
Tekpetey’s winner is his first in the Bulgarian First Professional League this term since he joined from Schalke 04 on loan and has three assists in 16 matches to his name.
Tekpetey’s effort did not go unnoticed as he was subsequently adjudged the Most Valuable Player on the day.
