Black Meteors striker Bernard Tekpetey has signed permanently for Bulgarian champions Ludogorets Razgrad from Schalke 04.
The Ghanaian attacker was loaned to the Bulgarian First Professional League team for two years last summer.
Now FC Schalke 04 and the Bulgarian champions of the past season have agreed on a final transfer of the 23-year-old.
Tekpetey has a stellar campaign in his career so far with the Green and Black Eagles last season both in the Bulgarian First Professional League and Europa League respectively.
The Ghanaian forward made his intention clear about wanting to stay with the club and has now sealed a deal with Ludogorets on permanent basis before the start of the season.
Tekpetey switched to Schalke U23 at the beginning of 2016. In the meantime, the Accra-born attacker stormed on loan in Austria for SCR Altach and in Germany for SC Paderborn and Fortuna Düsseldorf before he went to Bulgaria in summer 2020. Overall, Tekpetey played two games in the Bundesliga and one in the UEFA Europa League during his time with the Royal Blues.
Tekpetey played 37 times in all competitions for Ludogorets and scored four goals with four assists which helped Ludogorets to win the Bulgarian league title for the 10th consecutive time.
