The Black Stars’ training game against an unnamed club in Doha, Qatar, has been called off, according to Ghana FA Director of Communications Henry Asante Twum.
According to an itinerary issued by the Ghana FA last week, the Black Stars were expected to engage in a friendly game on Tuesday as Serbian trainer Milovan Rajevac prepares his squad for the 2021 AFCON.
However, due to a number of factors including player unavailability and change of schedules, the Black Stars have cancelled the friendly game.
“Per the current situation, it is unlikely the friendly the game will come on tomorrow,” Henry Asante Twum, the Director of Communications told Enoch Worlanyo on Asempa FM’s SportsNite show.
The Black Stars have, however, started training in Qatar. The first session was held yesterday and another one is being held today.
Below is the list of players currently in the Black Stars camp in Doha:
Richard Atta, Lawrence Ati Zigi, Alexander Djiku, Mubarak Wakaso, David Abagna, Daniel Kofi Kyereh, Gideon Mensah, Abdul Fatawu Issahaku and Maxwell Abbey Quaye.
