Asante Kotoko striker Kwame Opoku has finally signed for Algerian outfit USM Alger, SPORTSWorldGhana.com can confirm.
Reports in the media earlier claimed the player’s representatives have kicked against the move.
However, our outfit can authoritatively report the striker has signed four and a half year deal with the North African side today Wednesday 10th March 2021 for 500,000 euros.
Poku had Wednesday as the deadline date to finally put pen on paper to seal the juicy deal.
Sports World Ghana can further report that the 21-year striker will be moving to Algeria after the 2021 Cup of Nations qualifiers against South Africa and Sao Tome later this month.
The player will also be given a brand new Benz C3 Class vehicle when he arrives in Algeria plus other special incentives.
