Asante Kotoko are not pleased with how they were welcomed in Nigeria ahead of their epic Caf Champions League game against Kano Pillars.
According to the club’s Head of Administration and Legal Affairs , Sarfo Doku, the Ghanaian club are unhappy about how they have been treated in Nigeria.
“Kotoko are not happy with the Nigerian Football Federation and Kano Pillars management because no one came to welcome the team at the airport ahead of Saturday’s CAF Champions League game,” Doku said.
The Porcupine Warriors are in Kano and held their mandatory training at the Sani Abacha Stadium at 16.00 local time.
“The team had a little shake up this morning and will train fully at 3pm Ghana time and 4pm in Nigeria,” he added.
The Ghanaian powerhouse will face Kano Pillars in the CAF Champions League first round of qualifying games Saturday in Kano.
