Rayon Sports Ghanaian midfielder Prosper Donkor expects a victory over Nigerian side Enyimba FC in the ongoing Caf Confederation Cup quarter-final reverse leg on Sunday.
The Rwandan club badly need victory over Farouk Mohammed and Fatau Mohammed’s Enyimba to ensure they progress to the semi-final phase of the African inter club competition having drew goalless at home in the first leg.
Despite win in Nigeria being a tricky task for visitors, the Ghanaian midfielder who lasted 88 minutes in the first leg says he has absolute trust in his colleagues to deliver victory on Sunday.
“We too are a motivated and ambitious and we will look for three points, I am very sure of victory over Enyimba,’’ confident Prosper Donkor exclusively told SportsworldGhana.com on Wednesday.
“Although we drew in the first leg, I think we were better than them therefore I am confident if we play the way we did last week surely the three points shall be ours,’’
‘’We were even supposed to score them more than three goals in Rwanda but their goalkeeper prevented us from scoring on several occasions which which really saved them from losing the first leg,’’
He concluded ‘’I have confidence in our and also believe in the technical team so surely we will win in Nigeria,’’
The former Dreams FC midfielder, concluded his move to the Eastern side in May this year from Accra Young Wise and has since been influential in the team’s superb display in Africa.
