Cameroon head coach, Rigobert Song says he is happy with his side’s performance following the 1-1 draw with Ghana’s Black Meteors in the ongoing Under 23 AFCON in Egypt on Friday night.
The Central African country took the lead against Ibrahim Tanko’s team through Franck Evina’s sumptuous 59th minute freekick before defender Habib Mohammed snatched an equalizer for Ghana in the 78th minute.
Song noted that he did not have his full squad for the encounter so he is pleased with the scoreline.
“I am satisfied with the performance of my players. We are missing four key players and in the next game at least two of them will join us. My players lost their concentration for a minute.” Song emphasized in the post match presser.
Cameroon will take on Mali in their next game on Monday.
