Ghana international midfielder Alfred Duncan was an unused substitute for Fiorentina who were eliminated from the Coppa Italia by Inter Milan on Wednesday.
The team of Antonio Conte won 2-1 with Romelu Lukaku scoring 119th minute winner in extra time to advance Inter to the next round of the Cup competition.
Duncan has struggled to break into the first team of Cesare Prandelli since joiningFiorentina last season on loan from Sassuolo and his subsequent outright sale this season.
The Ghanaian midfielder has appeared in just 4 games this term for his club and against Inter on Wednesday he remained on the bench throughout the whole duration of the game.
This means the the 27-year old has not appeared in any games for Fiorentina in their last eleven outings.
