Young center-back, Emmanuel Nti has started the season in a good form and high spirit after two games in the Ghana Second Tier League so far.
The 16-year-old defender have played 90 minutes each in both games for the Asokwa-based club in the National Division One League and has excelled in the games he’s played for the club.
The tall and lanky defender has been a pivot for Kumasi team this season at the back helping his team to pick four points from a possible six by beating Swedru All Blacks at home in Obuasi and played full throttle once again over the weekend as his side secured a vital away point in Cape Coast against Venomous Vipers.
At age 16, the Kumasi High School young chap have cemented his place in the highly rated Asokwa Deportivo team with quality football on display and his ability to carry the ball from defense to attack.
Not only does he defend so well for the Allah is Great side, but Nti’s passing ability is one of his numerous qualities as a defensive player as well as his understanding of the game and techniques in areal abilities makes him a standout performer for his team.
Though young and looks fragile by his appearance but the youngster is full of strength and possesses an enormous pace which helps him to recover and cover up for his colleagues anytime his team is struggling and under severe pressure by their opponents.
Nti, 16, was part of the 2020 Kumasi High School team that won the Ashanti Regional Milo tournament played yearly in Kumasi and was one of the most important and ever present player for his team as they triumphed over all participating teams to emerge winners of the tournament.
The young lad at the age of 14 was part of the Deportivo team during the Normalisation Committee tournament played in the West African Country and has since been a constant feature at the club at a very tender age.
In 2017, the hard working, dedicated, and disciplined youngster was part of Ghana’s Black Starlets (U-17) team that qualified to play in India but missed out on the final 21 players for the tournament in Dubai where the team was camped.
Two games into this season and the young but brilliant defender have been a fans favorite center-back with his great performance for his who sit third on the league table with four points from two matches.
Scouts and Coaches within and outside the Shores of the country can keep an eye on the youngster who’s destined for greatness with his defensive abilities, accurate passing and reading of the game coupled with his height which serves as an advantage to him in areal duels as well as his pace.
The young chap looks ready for the football market in the Ghana and would be a great fit for any of the Ghana Premier League teams and would also be an instant hit with his talents at the world stage with proper development plan and a chance to shine.
His team, Asokwa Deportivo SC have won one match and drawn the other in their first two games of the season with Nti taking center stage in both matches.
