The Algeria teams of Ghana players Kwame Opoku , formerly of Asante Kotoko and former WAFA striker Daniel Lomotey faced each other on Tuesday night for Week 20 of the 2020/21 Algeria Ligue 1 but there was no winner.
The game ended 1-1 at the 08 Mai stadium in Setif as Lomotey came off the bench in the 63rd minute but Opoku remained an unused substitute for USM Alger.
The striker who scored 7 goals in 16 Ghana Premier League games for Kotoko was named on the USMA squad for the first time since making the move to the North African country.
Setif continue to lead the table on 43 points whilst USMA are 7th after 20 games on 32 points.
