Ghana Premier League giants Accra Hearts of Oak and rivals Asante Kotoko have officially contacted Division One League side Nkoranza Warriors to inquire about the availability of their top attacking midfielder Gabs Goddey, SportsworldGhana.com can exclusively report.

The two clubs are hoping to bolster their team with the acquisition of the talented forward from Nkoranza Warriors.

SPORTS world Ghana can, however, confirm that both Hearts and Kotoko have commenced preliminary discussions and negotiations with the Nkoranza-based club for his signature before the 2021/2022 season starts.

Goddey who spent last season with Tema Youth SC, spent some months in Germany with German Bundesliga side Bayer 04 Leverkusen but unfortunately could not seal a deal with the German top-flight side based in Leverkusen in the state of North Rhine-Westphalia.

The 19-year old attacking midfielder joined the Nkoranza-based club from Royal Awudu Issaka Academy.

Goddey who joined Nkoranza Warriors in the second round of the Division One League, has so far scored four goals.
