Dreams FC winger Samuel Pimpong has joined United Arab Emirates lower tier club United FC on a free transfer after nine years with the Ghanaian side.
Pimpong 21, joins the Sharjah based club as one of the mega signings this summer as they seek to progress from the amateur division.
The talented left-footed winger progressed from the youth team of Dreams to the senior side and he was one of their key elements in the 2018 league which was abrogated.
Pimpong mentioned that he is looking forward to make his mark in the Gulf country as he eyes a move to the professional leagues.
“This is an opportunity for me to make my mark and move to the elite league. This is a stepping stone for me.” Pimpong told sportsworldghana.com
“I am looking forward to excel, the coaches liked me after my first training.” He added.
The budding winger also played for Berekum Chelsea on loan previously and was part of their team which reached the quarter finals of the Viaraggio cup in Italy in 2019.
