Former Ghana U17 star-boy Eric Ayiah has been named in AS Monaco first team squad for the first time for their game against Stade de Reims today in France.
The Ghanaian youngster who joined Monaco on a five-year deal after a successful campaign with Ghana’s Black Starlets in India during the FIFA U17 World Cup has never played top-flight football.
Ayiah, who will be 22 on Match 6 has scored two goals and provided five assists in his 17 appearances for the AS Monaco second side in the ongoing season
Ayiah joined Monaco from Ghanaian lower-tier side Charity Stars after the 2017 FIFA U-17 World Cup staged in India but is yet to be seen among the big boys at the club until today.
He could play for Monaco’s first team for the first time in today’s match at the Stade Louis II in Monaco.
