Midfield-general, Emmanuel Agyemang Badu has announced his decision to leave Italian Serie A side Hellas Verona on Saturday afternoon.
The former Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC player played ten matches for Hellas but has decided its time to call it a quit with the Verona club.
Badu matually leaves the club after joining just summer from Udinese Calcio, a club he spent most of his career playing for.
“Right now I am no more with Hellas Verona. I cordially agreed to terminate my contract and so I’m a free agent and free to join any club,” he told Joy Sports.
“After all the COVID stuff, I decided to come home and rest small and find a team in January,” he added following a turbulent past two seasons in his career.
The 2009 FIFA U20 World Cup winner is expected to announce his next destination in the coming weeks after leaving his current employers.
Badu announced his retirement from international football last Thursday playing 78 times for the Black Stars.
