Ghana Football Association Communications Director Tamimu
Issah has officially resigned from his position with immediate effect, SportsworldGhana.com can report.
The former PLB spokesperson and official mouth piece for the Ghana FA tendered in his resignation letter on Wednesday February, 19, 2020 and thanked the leadership for their trust in him.
Tamimu spent 14 years playing various roles for Ghana football including the creation, training and coordination of Venue Media Officers for the premier league centers.
He has also worked with the various national teams as media officer before his appointment as the FA Spokesperson by the Kurt Okraku led administration.
“I have just tendered in my letter of resignation to the General Secretary of the GFA via email.
It has been 14 amazing years of committed service to the Ghana Football Association.
Always give thanks to Allah in every situation in life.
Alhamdulillah”, Tamimu posted on his Facebook wall.
Ghana Football Association will have to appoint a new Communications Director to replace the resigned Issah Tamimu.
He was appointed to replace Ibrahim Saani Daara as the official mouthpiece of the GFA.
