Cape Coast Mysterious Ebusua Dwarfs lost their Ghana Premier League week five encounter to Medeama SC at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
The Crabs were the better side in the first half after some impressive football on display but failed to make their dominance count as the first half ended goalless.
After the break, Coach Samuel Boadu made some changes which affected the way his team, Medeama SC played in the second half and started giving Dwarfs some problems at the back.
On the 71st minute of the match, substitute Agyenim Boateng pounced on a lackadaisical defense from the hosts to head home the opening goal of the match to put Medeama 1-0 up with 19 minutes left.
Dwarfs pushed on for the equalizer but couldn’t find the back of the net to level matters as they succumbed to a 0-1 defeat at home for the first time this season.
Medeama on the other hand got their first win of the season in four games after previously loosing one to Dreams FC and drawing two games against Legon Cities FC and Accra Great Olympics respectively.
