Ghanaian forward, Grejohn Kyei was on target for Servette FC on Wednesday afternoon in the Switzerland Cup against FC Vevey United.
The Ghanaian-born French scored at the wrong end of the field when his 14th minute own-goal gave the Swiss lower tier side the lead inside the opening quarter of the match.
Miroslav Stevanivic leveled it up for the home team after 57 minutes before Kyei bagged his goal, this time at the right end of the field to make it 2-0 to the top-flight team.
Luri Simao restored parity for the home team late in the game but Kastriot Imeri’s double from the spot inside added time sent Servette through to the quarter final of the competition.
Kyei and his team mates will face winner of FC Luzern and FC Chiasso in the next round of the competition.
