Ghanaian forward, Kwadwo Duah made a substitute appearance for FC St.Gallen in the Switzerland Cup semi-final against Servette FC on Wednesday evening.
The 24-year-old Ghanaian striker before the semi-final game had scored three Cup games goals but could only start from the bench in his team’s semi-final victory over a strong opponent Servette to book their tickets to the final of the competition.
Duah came on after the hour mark and when the score was still goalless to replace Boris Babic inside the 60th minute of the pulsating and end-to-end encounter.
The Ghanaian flicked ball located midfielder, Basil Stillhart who scored the only goal of the match to secure a final place berth for the Green and Whites who will come up against FC Luzern on May 24 in the final cup game.
The potential Black Stars striker lasted 30 minutes of the match as he helped his team to progress to the final of the Switzerland Cup competition and could win his first senior career trophy if St Gallen beat FC Luzern in the final.
