Ghana international, Hans Nunoo Sarpei has commenced pre-season with German side Greuther Furth ahead of the start of the 2021/22 campaign.
The 22-year-old played in 22 games for his side as they finished second in the second tier of German football, gaining promotion into next season’s Bundesliga campaign. The midfielder was involved in two league goals for Greuther Furth, scoring one and assisting the other.

The promotion of Greuther Furth to the top division is also a good omen for Sarpei to taste Bundesliga football once again having twice played for VfB Stuttgart during the 2018/19 season, where he made just two appearances.
He will also be hoping that his performances in the Bundesliga will at least earn him a call-up into the Black Stars of Ghana team for the upcoming 2022 World Cup qualifiers as well as next year’s Africa Cup of Nations tournament to be held in Cameroon.
