Ghana defender Gideon again put up a scintillating performance for his side Sturm Graz who posted a 2-1 win against Samuel Tetteh’s LASK in the Austria Bundesliga on Wednesday at the TGW Arena.
The Black Meteors left-back was a delight to watch at the TGW Arena as he lasted full throttle to help team clinch all three points in their crucial away fixture.
Winger Jakob Jantscher opened scoring for the visitors on the 61st minute before Markus Pink increased their lead to 2-0 on the 74th minute.
Midfielder Peter Michorl however, managed to grab the only consolation goal for the hosts on stoppage time.
Meanwhile, former WAFA forward Samuel Tetteh played the last 22 minutes of the match after coming on to replace Markus Wostry on the 68th minute mark.
Sturm Graz, currently sit fourth on the league table having amassed 22 points in 27 games as they keep chasing Europa league playoffs spot.
