Ghana’s national U-7 male team, the Black Starlets have been hit with massive boast after a successful MRI test in Niger.
The Starlets, led by Coach Karim Zito Paraded 20- players to the African Youth Championship set to be held in Niger.
The players went through an MRI test, which is aimed at disqualifying over-aged players.
However, the camp of the Starlets received good news as no player was disqualified after the CAF mandatory MRI test SportsworldGhana.com can confirm.
The technical team before departing for the tournament venue held an MRI test in Accra-Ghana to avoid any setback. The previous test led the team, losing two key duo Emmanuel Bio and Adams Saad.
Notwithstanding, Coach Zito counts on the rest of the players to book Ghana a ticket to the U-17 World cup scheduled for next year.
Ghana will come up against host nation Niger and Togo at the group in Group A of the U-17 WAFU Cup of nations.
The tournament kicks start on September 2, 2018.
