Potential Black Stars striker, Grejohn Kyei started the 2021-22 Swiss Super League on a high as he scored on the opening day victory for Servette FC against FC Sion.
The French Ligue 1 side St Étienne target lasted 88 minutes on the field before he was subbed off to be replaced by Yoan Séverin.
Kastriot Imeri scored the opening goal for the visitors on the 30th-minute mark as his right-footed shot from the center of the box found the back of the net.
Seven minutes after the break, Kyei added to his team’s advantage by scoring the second and decisive goal to secure a 2-1 win for Servette on the road.
The hosts’ goal came very late in the game and could only be a consolation for the Red and Whites as they succumbed to Servette at home.
The 25-year-old striker has a goal in his first outing of the season.
