Dr. Randy Abbey has successfully retained his position as a member of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) Executive Council, securing 12 votes.
Other incumbent members who retained their seats on the Executive Council include Frederick Acheampong, who received 11 votes, and Nana Oduro Sarfo, who served on several committees and received 10 votes.
Kingsley Osei Bonsu, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Bechem United, also garnered 12 votes.
However, the Board Chairman of Medeama SC, Dr. Tony Aubynn, lost his seat with only 7 votes.
The Ghana Football Association election took place in Tamale, with FIFA sending a strong delegation to monitor the events in the Northern Regional capital at the Global Dreams Hotel.
Earlier, GFA President Kurt Okraku retained his position with an overwhelming 97.1% of the votes, as only two people voted against his retention.
