The Chief Executive Officer of Data Bank- Kojo Addae Mensah has heaped praises on Accra Hearts of Oak for winning the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League.
The staunch Kotoko fan, however, adds the Phobians deservedly won the title at the expense of big rivals Asante Kotoko.
Speaking on Kumasi-based Hello FM, Addae Mensah said: “Accra Hearts of Oak deservedly won this season’s Ghana Premier League,”
According to him, the Phobians deserve all commendations because they showed that they were desirous to win the title.
“For me, I believe the sale of Kwame Opoku ended Kotoko chances of winning the league.
Coach Samuel Boadu guilded the former Caf Champion League winners to clinch the league title for the first time in twelve years.
Meanwhile, Hearts will play Elmina Sharks on Sunday in the quarter final stage of the MTN FA Cup while Asante Kotoko host fellow Premier League side Berekum Chelsea at the Obuasi Len Stadium.
