Accra Hearts of Oak midfielder, Salifu Ibrahim has disclosed he ditched an offer from Medeama in the last minute to join Hearts of Oak.
The ex-Eleven Wonders player who has been in an explosive form opened up on how his move to the capital side materialised. In an interview monitored on Hearts TV, the player said he was contacted by a management member from the Phobian.
” I had a call from Alhaji Akambi and he said he wanted me at Hearts so I told him to talk to my manager about it. So my manager spoke to Accra Hearts of Oak and it was at that time too Medeama had come to show interest but I decided once I had made up my mind I will play for Hearts, because I knew Hearts will give me a bright future” the player stated.
The talented nimble left footed player has won 7 man of the match accolade so far. Accra Hearts of Oak will host Legon Cities next week Thursday before their super clash with Kotoko next week Sunday.
