Reading defender Abdul Baba Rahman, has reacted to Ghana’s Black Stars qualification to the playoffs of the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
The Black Stars pipped the Bafana Bafana of South Africa 1-0 on Sunday night at the Cape Coast Stadium to seal the qualification ahead of their South Africa counterparts.
Captain Andre Ayew’s penalty in the 33rd minute was all that Ghana needed to make it to the next phase of the qualifiers which will be played in March next year before the World Cup draw is held.
Rahman, who was outstanding and lasted the full 90 minutes of the game, took to Twitter to celebrate his team’s qualification.
