Asante Kotoko Chief Executive Officer, Nana Yaw Amponsah, has disclosed that the demands made by Medeama SC for Blay didn’t convince him.
The Black Stars B midfielder played for the Porcupine Warriors on loan last term and excelled greatly in the matches he played.
The Nana Yaw Amponsah’s led management team tried to sign him permanently after he returned to his parent club Medeama but the deal failed to materiallise.
Speaking on Kumasi-based Oyerepa FM, Amponsah explained why his outfit could not sign Justice Blay on a permanent basis.
“Medeama quoted 300,000ghc for Blay and 40% future transfer but I demanded for explanation and Moses Parker explained issues to me but I wasn’t convinced,” he stated.
Kotoko recently sacked head coach Maxwell Konadu and lost their CAF Champions League qualifying match to Al-Hilal in Accra.
