Kumasi Asante Kotoko has handed huge injury boost ahead of their last league game of the 2020/21 Ghana Premier League against Elmina Sharks, with three players expected to be back with the squad.
Evans Adomako, Adom Frimpong and midfield maestro Emmanuel Keyekeh are all close to full fitness as the Porcupine Warriors finalise their preparations for their game against Sharks.
Two of three mentioned players missed out on the action in the club’s 1-2 defeat to Bechem United last weekend, with Keyekeh making a second-half appearance as the Kumasi-based side lost grip on the fight for the league title.
However, the club has confirmed that the three players have all stepped up their recoveries at Adako Jachie and look certain to fully join their teammates in Thursday’s training ahead of the weekend clash.
Kwame Baah, who has also been out of action for Kotoko in the last two games with a facial injury is also confirmed to be nearing a return after doing a higher intensity training on Tuesday and Wednesday respectively.
Augustine Okrah and Godfred Asiamah, who have both taken ill, have been given a week off by head coach Mariano Barreto while Habib Mohammed continues to recover from an ankle injury he suffered against Accra Hearts of Oak.
