Ghana midfielder Majeed Ashimeru is full of joy after scoring his first goal for Belgian giants RSC Anderlecht.
The former WAFA SC graduate came from the bench to score his team’s second goal in their 2-0 away win in the Cup competition in Belgium against SC Liege.
Paul Mukairu netted the first goal of the match to put the Mauves in the lead after 29 minutes played in the opening 45 minutes of the match to put Anderlecht in front before the break.
Ashimeru came on in the 62nd minute to replace former Borussia Dortmund winger, Jacob Bruun Larsen and found the back of the net five minutes after his introduction to make it 2-0 to the top-flight team.
Anderlecht progress to the last sixteen of the competition after their win in Liese on Wednesday.

Ashimeru, 23, is on loan from Austrian side RB Salzburg and has a goal in his first appearance for Anderlecht after joining last month.
