Dutch-born Ghanaian attacker Brian Brobbey‘s agent Mino Railo, has hinted that his client could rejoin Dutch powerhouse Ajax.
Brian Brobbey, one of Ajax Amsterdam’s greatest talents, moved to RB Leipzig in the summer. However, the storm talent has had a hard time with the Bundesliga team and now his agent Mino Railo is now talking about a return to the Netherlands.
Brian Brobbey only plays a subordinate role at RB Leipzig. The 19-year-old storm talent stood on the pitch for an average of 18 minutes in his previous 14 appearances. A situation that his advisor Mino Raiola is not satisfied with either, as he admits in an interview with the Dutch newspaper ‘NRC’.
“In retrospect, you can say that it is not in his interest. But you didn’t know that beforehand ”, the star agent justifies himself and gives examples: “ Look at Jude Bellingham, the greatest talent in England, who now plays for Borussia Dortmund. Just like Haaland. Going out young is not necessarily a bad thing.” said Railo.
In the summer Brobbey left his youth club Ajax Amsterdam with a lot of noise in the direction of the Saxons. At the time, Ajax was furious that his offensive jewel decided against an extension and for a move to the Bundesliga.
A decision that Brobbey has still not fully gotten to grips with. The 19-year-old quarreled partly publicly with his choice for Leipzig and raved about his ex-club.
Raiola has now also recognized the signs: “Of course I feel responsible for his situation, but I’m man enough to say that I think it is best if he goes back to Ajax now. My players make their own decisions. I tell the honest story. I say: this means a decision for Ajax. Those are the possibilities, and there, and there. “
For Brobbey, even under Jesse Marsch’s successor Domenico Tedesco, there still seems to be little opportunity to develop. Under his direction, the teenager was only substituted in the final minutes. Brobbey and Leipzig – the liaison could come to an early end after just a few months. According to reports, Ajax is also longing for the prodigal son.
